Best AI Baby Generators (Privacy Checked)

An AI baby generator takes a photo of each parent and draws a baby who shares some of their visible features. It is a fun thing to share with a partner or family. It is not a forecast. Traits such as eye colour depend on many genes, and the AI only blends what it can see in two photos, so every run gives a different child.

Because these apps take clear photos of two real faces, we made photo privacy the biggest part of the score (35%): who stores the parents' faces, for how long, whether they are used to train AI, and how many outside companies see them. We read the privacy policy or privacy help pages of every tool below, then scored result quality, honesty about accuracy, free tier and value, and ease of use. Prices are US list prices as of 26 September 2026.

Quick answer

Gemini (Nano Banana) is the best AI baby generator overall: the most natural-looking results, free, with clear privacy controls (turn off Keep Activity first). MagicShot has the strongest privacy promises of the dedicated tools (no training on uploads, delete any time) but costs $9 a month. AI Ease is the best free dedicated generator, and says it deletes face data as soon as the image is made. Treat every result as entertainment: no app can predict what your child will look like.

Expert reviews

#1 · The most natural-looking baby, free

Gemini (Nano Banana)

by Google · Freemium · Free; Google AI Plus $4.99/mo
8.0/10

Gemini is not sold as a baby generator, but Google's Nano Banana image models are among the best at keeping faces recognisable, so they give the most natural-looking results of the tools here, and the free tier is enough for a few tries. Upload one clear, front-facing photo of each parent and ask for "a realistic photo of a baby about nine months old who blends the features of these two people". Ask again and you get a different child, which is a useful reminder that this is not a forecast. You can also set the age, outfit and background yourself.

Privacy is the catch. With Keep Activity on (the default), Google keeps your chats, including the photos in them, until they auto-delete after 18 months, and a sample of chats is read by human reviewers and kept for up to three years. Turn Keep Activity off before you upload and Google says new chats are kept for 72 hours.

Pick it if you want the best result for free and are happy to change one setting first. Skip it if you want a one-tap app with preset options.

#2 · A dedicated tool with a no-training promise

MagicShot

by MagicShot.ai · Paid · $9/month (Essential)
7.8/10

MagicShot makes the clearest privacy promises of the dedicated baby tools. It says it does not use your uploads or generated results to train AI models, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and lets you remove any result, or your whole account, whenever you like. Its privacy policy (updated August 2026) adds that face data is stored only while results are made and purged periodically, though it gives no fixed deadline, and that content flagged for abuse can be kept for moderation.

The tool is simple: two front-facing photos, then boy, girl or twins, and you can run it several times from the same pair to see a range of faces. MagicShot is also honest about limits, describing the result as an estimate from visible features rather than a genetic prediction.

The downside is price. There is no free plan, and the cheapest subscription is $9 a month ($63 a year), which also covers 85+ other AI tools. That is a lot for a one-off bit of fun, so cancel once you have your pictures.

Pick it if privacy matters most and you do not mind paying. Skip it if you only want a free try.

#3 · Custom baby photos with a set age, outfit and scene

ChatGPT Images

by OpenAI · Freemium · Free; Go $8/mo, Plus $20/mo
7.6/10

ChatGPT can do the same job as a dedicated app, with more control. Upload a photo of each parent and describe what you want: a newborn, a toddler at the beach, a five-year-old in a school photo. Its image model follows detailed instructions well, so it is the best choice for a specific scene, such as a card for a baby shower. Safety filters may refuse some edits of real people, especially public figures.

On privacy, the defaults favour OpenAI. Unless you switch off "Improve the model for everyone" in Data controls, your chats can be used to train its models. Deleted chats are removed within 30 days, but OpenAI's help centre notes that deleting a chat does not delete files saved separately in your Library. The simplest fix is a Temporary Chat, which OpenAI says is never used for training and is deleted within 30 days.

The free plan has a small image allowance; Go costs $8 a month and Plus $20.

Pick it if you already use ChatGPT and want to direct the scene. Skip it if you want a one-tap app with preset options.

#4 · A free, dedicated generator with simple options

AI Ease

by Chengdu Yile Tech Co., Ltd. · Freemium · Free (daily credits)
7.5/10

AI Ease is the best free dedicated baby generator we found. After you sign up, free daily credits let you upload both parents' photos and choose the baby's gender (or leave it random), age (baby, child or teen) and skin tone. It is quick, and the options make it easy to see how much the result changes from run to run.

Its privacy policy is short but specific where it counts. AI Ease says face data is deleted immediately after the output is made, is not used to train other AI products, and is not shared with third parties such as advertisers or data brokers. The tool page also states plainly that the baby generator is for entertainment. Two cautions: the policy was last updated in September 2024, and it does not say where data is stored. The site is developed by Chengdu Yile Tech, a company based in China.

Expect simpler, less detailed faces than from Gemini or ChatGPT, whose image models lead our AI image generator ranking.

Pick it if you want a free, purpose-built tool with a clear deletion rule. Skip it if you do not want to create an account.

#5 · Controlling how much the baby looks like each parent

Fotor AI Baby Generator

by Fotor · Freemium · Free (limited credits)
6.8/10

Fotor's baby generator has the nicest controls of the web tools: a slider sets how much the baby takes after each parent, and you pick the gender. New accounts get free credits, with more from daily check-ins. Fotor is also upfront about the limits, saying the result is a preview from facial features and does not predict genetic outcomes.

Privacy is where it falls down. The tool page says photos are never stored, but Fotor's privacy policy (updated May 2026) says inputs to its AI generation tools stay on its US servers for as long as your account exists unless you delete them, may be passed to outside model providers, and, for free users spending gift credits without a subscription, are made public in the Fotor community by default. That is a poor default for two parents' faces. Fotor's separate AI avatar feature does delete training selfies once avatars are made, but the policy does not single out the baby generator.

Pick it if you like fine control and will check the sharing settings before you upload. Skip it if you want certainty that nothing is public on the free plan.

#6 · A phone app with a 24-hour deletion rule

AI Baby Generator: Face Maker

by Wowoo Dijital Hizmetler · Freemium · Free download; in-app purchases $4–$51.99
6.5/10

AI Baby Generator: Face Maker is a simple phone app with 4.5 stars from about 13,000 US App Store ratings. You upload two photos, pick a gender and get a baby face, with extras such as eye colour and hair type.

Its privacy policy is better than most in this category. The developer, Wowoo, says original photos and any facial feature data are permanently deleted within 24 hours, that processing runs on Microsoft Azure servers in the US, and that facial data is not shared with third parties. The App Store privacy label does show usage data that may be used to track you across other companies' apps.

The weak points are honesty and price. The listing claims the app predicts your baby's face with amazing accuracy, which no app can do. Premium is sold through in-app purchases from $4 to $51.99, including weekly subscriptions, so a free trial can quietly turn into a recurring bill.

Pick it if you want a phone app with a short, written deletion window. Skip it if weekly subscriptions put you off; check Settings > Subscriptions after any trial.

#7 · Families already using Wachanga's pregnancy apps

Future Baby Face Generator AI

by Wachanga · Freemium · Free download; in-app purchases $5.99–$30.99
6.3/10

Future Baby Face Generator AI comes from Wachanga, which also makes pregnancy, period and baby-tracking apps. You upload a photo of each partner, choose the baby's gender and approximate age, and it produces a face; extras include a family photo collage and ageing from toddler to teen. It has 4.2 stars from 130 US App Store ratings.

Wachanga's app-specific privacy policy has a good core rule: photos are processed with Stable Diffusion and deleted from Firebase storage as soon as the result is delivered. But the App Store privacy label lists photos as data linked to you, and purchases, coarse location, identifiers and usage data as data used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. The policy also has no update date.

Premium options on the US App Store run from $5.99 to $30.99. The listing mostly frames the result as a fun glimpse, though it also advertises realistic predictions.

Pick it if you already use Wachanga's family apps. Skip it if ad tracking bothers you; AI Ease and MagicShot track less.

#8 · Choosing the image model behind your result

Dzine AI Baby Generator

by Dzine · Freemium · Free 100 credits; Beginner $8.99/mo
6.0/10

Dzine is a general AI image studio with a baby generator page. You upload two photos, pick an underlying model such as Nano Banana, ChatGPT's image model or Seedream, and add a prompt. You can adjust eye colour, hair and skin tone and show the child anywhere from newborn to toddler. Because it runs strong third-party models, results can look very good.

Privacy is the weak point. Dzine's privacy policy, last updated in August 2024, gives no retention period for uploaded images, says nothing about whether uploads train AI, and does not mention face data at all. Its pricing page lists private generation and commercial use only under paid plans, so check whether your free results are visible to others. Your photos also pass to whichever outside model you pick.

New accounts get 100 free credits that last 12 months, enough for several tries. Beginner costs $8.99 a month, or $7 a month billed yearly.

Pick it if you want to compare several image models on the same pair of photos. Skip it if you want clear written rules on what happens to your photos.

Cosplay: Future Baby Generator

by Spark Dynamics · Freemium · Free download; in-app purchases $9.99–$69.99
5.9/10

Cosplay: Future Baby Generator is one of the most popular apps in the category, with 4.7 stars from about 46,500 US App Store ratings. Beyond baby faces it offers costume filters, retro game-style effects, ageing and image-to-video.

Its developer, Spark Dynamics in Istanbul, has a reasonably clear privacy policy. It says face data is deleted from its servers once each request is complete (a process it says can take up to four days), and that personal data is not used to train separate AI models. But your photos pass through a long list of outside AI providers to make the images: Google, OpenAI, Replicate, fal.ai, Higgsfield, ByteDance and Kling AI.

The App Store listing is stuffed with keywords and suggests you can see the future of your real baby, which overstates what any app can do. It is also the most expensive option here: $39.99 for access to all features, $69.99 a year for Pro, and single feature packs from $9.99 to $19.99.

Pick it if you want lots of fun filters in one app. Skip it if you want your photos to reach as few companies as possible.

#10 · Ageing the baby into an adult, if long retention is fine with you

TinyFaces

by HEYOS · Freemium · Free credits; in-app purchases $4.99–$39.99
5.1/10

TinyFaces, listed as AI Baby Generator - TinyFaces, is well liked: 4.7 stars from about 11,300 US App Store ratings. It blends two photos into a baby, ages the child into adulthood, mixes celebrity faces and adds a parent quiz that claims to hint at the baby's zodiac sign, personality and future job. The listing does say the app is for entertainment only, which is the right label.

The privacy policy is the problem. Developer HEYOS says it keeps anonymised face or facial data for up to five years to improve its services and AI models, and that images you submit can be sent to outside AI providers such as OpenAI. The same policy also claims all personal information stays on your device, which is hard to square with the rest, and it was posted in 2020 rather than written for this app. The listing's promise that your photos are safe does not match a five-year retention window.

In-app purchases run from $4.99 to $39.99, including a $9.99 monthly plan.

Pick it if you want the ageing feature and accept long retention. Skip it if you want face data deleted quickly; most rivals here delete within a day.

How we scored these tools

Each tool is scored 0–10 on the criteria below, using public evidence: independent benchmarks, vendor documentation and pricing pages, aggregate user ratings and reputable reviews. The overall score is the weighted average. Nobody pays to be listed. Read our full methodology.

Result quality20%How natural and baby-like the faces look, and whether both parents' visible features come through.
Honesty & safeguards15%Clear 'for fun, not genetics' labelling, no false accuracy claims, age limits and rules against using other people's photos.

What an AI baby generator can and cannot tell you

These tools look at the visible features in two photos (face shape, skin tone, eye and hair colour) and draw a new face that mixes them. That is all.

  • Genes do not work like a blend. Eye colour alone is shaped by many genes, and parents with blue eyes can occasionally have a brown-eyed child, according to the US National Library of Medicine's MedlinePlus. An app cannot see recessive traits hidden in either parent.
  • Each run is random. Generate twice from the same photos and you get two different babies. Neither is more "correct".
  • Photos steer the result. Lighting, make-up, filters and camera angle change skin tone and features in the output.
  • Beware accuracy claims. Any app promising to predict your baby "with accuracy" is overselling. MagicShot, Fotor and AI Ease say plainly that results are estimates or entertainment.

Enjoy the pictures, share them for fun, and do not read anything medical or genetic into them.

Where your photos go: privacy compared

We read each privacy policy on 26 September 2026. Vendor statements are claims we could not audit.

Tool How long faces are kept Used for AI training? Watch out for
MagicShot Purged periodically; delete any time No (vendor) No fixed deadline
AI Ease Deleted right after output Not for other AI products Policy dated 2024
AI Baby Generator: Face Maker Within 24 hours Not stated Cross-app usage tracking
Future Baby Face Generator AI Deleted after delivery Not stated Tracking with location and identifiers
Cosplay After each request, up to 4 days No (vendor) Seven outside AI providers

Fotor Until you delete Face data: no (vendor) Free gift-credit results public by default
Dzine No period stated Not stated Private generation is paid
TinyFaces Anonymised face data up to 5 years To improve AI models Long retention

The safest pattern is a tool that deletes photos within a day, says in writing that it does not train on them, and does not publish results by default.

How to use a baby generator safely

  1. Get your partner's consent. You are uploading their face too. Do not use photos of an ex, a crush, a colleague or a celebrity; that is someone else's face and personal data.
  2. Use one plain photo each. A front-facing photo with no filter gives a better result and shares less than a whole album.
  3. Change the settings before you upload. In Gemini, turn off Keep Activity. In ChatGPT, open a Temporary Chat. In Fotor or Dzine, check whether results are public.
  4. Delete afterwards. Remove the results and, if you will not use the app again, the account. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete data on the company's servers.
  5. Cancel trials the same day. Many phone apps sell weekly subscriptions. On iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  6. Keep children's photos out. Do not upload photos of existing children to "see their sibling"; children's images deserve extra care.

How we scored

Photo privacy and retention carries 35% of the score, result quality and free tier and value 20% each, honesty and safeguards 15%, and ease of use 10%. We read every vendor's privacy policy, tool page, pricing page and US App Store listing on 26 September 2026, and cross-checked the general image models against our AI image generator and face swap rankings. Retention and training statements are vendor claims. The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal. No vendor paid for placement.

Expert tips
  1. Change the privacy setting before the first upload, not after: in Gemini switch off Keep Activity, and in ChatGPT start a Temporary Chat. Both keep your photos out of long-term history and training.
  2. Use one front-facing, unfiltered photo per parent, taken in similar daylight. Mismatched lighting is the most common reason a baby's skin tone looks wrong.
  3. Generate at least five versions and share the set, not a single image. It makes the point that this is play, not prediction.
  4. Crop to the face and remove location data before uploading; there is no need to hand an app your whole selfie with your home in the background.
  5. Set a phone reminder to cancel any free trial the same day; weekly plans we saw in this category cost up to $12.99 a week.

Jargon explained

Retention period
How long a company keeps your uploaded photos or data on its servers before deleting them.
Model training
Using people's photos or chats to improve an AI system. Once used this way, your data can shape future results even after deletion.
Biometric data
Measurements of your body, such as the geometry of your face, that can identify you. Some laws give it extra protection.
Polygenic trait
A feature, like eye or hair colour, shaped by many genes working together, which is why it is hard to predict from parents' looks.
Keep Activity
Google's setting that decides whether Gemini saves your chats, including uploaded photos, and for how long.

Frequently asked questions

Are AI baby generators accurate?

No. They blend the visible features in two photos and add randomness, so the same photos give a different baby every time. Real inheritance involves many genes, including hidden ones, that no photo shows. Treat the results as entertainment.

What is the best free AI baby generator?

Gemini gives the most natural results for free; turn off Keep Activity before you upload. AI Ease is the best free dedicated tool, with daily credits and a policy that says face data is deleted right after the image is made.

Is it safe to upload my photos to a baby generator?

It depends on the app. Pick one that deletes photos within a day, says it does not train AI on them, and does not publish results by default. Avoid apps with vague or very old privacy policies. TinyFaces, for example, says it keeps anonymised facial data for up to five years.

How do I make a future baby photo in Gemini or ChatGPT?

Upload one clear, front-facing photo of each parent and write something like: "Create a realistic photo of a baby about nine months old who blends the features of these two people, plain pastel background, soft light." Ask for several versions and change the age or setting as you like.

Can I use a celebrity's or friend's photo?

You should not without their permission. Uploading someone's face shares their personal data with the app, and making a "baby" with a stranger or celebrity can embarrass or harass them. Several apps advertise celebrity mashups; we marked that down.

Why was I charged after using a baby generator app?

Many of these apps sell weekly subscriptions after a free trial, and deleting the app does not cancel them. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel. On Android, open your subscriptions in Google Play, pick the app and tap Cancel subscription.
